From the top of Grünerløkka, the view stretches across the whole of Oslo and down to the fjord.
It’s an unusual vantage point for a city apartment, and the interior responds to it with warm, natural materials and plenty of oak, giving the rooms a calm, thoughtful atmosphere. The oak runs throughout the entire apartment, creating a warm contrast to the newly renovated and clean aesthetic.
The light inside shifts with the day, and on lightly overcast afternoons, the sunset streams into the rooms in a way that’s hard to prepare for. The balcony gets sun starting at noon and features a custom-built lounge area where you can settle in. The sunset is unobstructed every evening, and from here you can watch it without anything in the way. The apartment is located at the top of Grünerløkka, with Hønse-Lovisas Hus right next to the waterfall as its closest neighbor.
The tram runs just a stone’s throw away on Biermannsgate and takes you quickly to downtown or on toward Torshov and Sagene.
