Information about the host In our Maiensäss above Buchen in Prättigau (approx. 1'300 m.a.s.l.) you can enjoy nature-orientated and stress-free vacations and leave everyday life behind.
Surrounded by meadows and woods, the Maiensäss "Plausi" is situated in a peaceful mountain world with a wonderful view over the Vorderprättigau.
The seating area by the house invites you to linger and watch the wildlife.
In winter it is not possible to reach the Maiensäss by car.
However, it is possible to drive to the Plattis/Plaus junction and park the car there.
The road can be covered with snow, therefore it is recommended to have snow chains with you.
From there you can reach the Maiensäss with snowshoes (4 pairs can be provided) in about 15 - 20 minutes.
A horn sled for transporting luggage is available.
Winter sports facilities: Family-friendly ski area at reasonable prices and cross-country ski trail in the immediate vicinity.
Well-maintained hiking trails invite you to long walks, hikes or Nordic walking.
While snowshoeing or on ski tours you can enjoy nature and silence intensively.
Ski resorts Klosters / Davos can be reached in about 30 minutes.
Summer sports offers: An idyllic outdoor swimming pool is in Pany (approx. 10 min. by car).
An extensive network of hiking trails is at your disposal.
Mountain bike tours are possible from the house.
Conditions/extras Firewood is included in the price.
