Information about the host
The mountain hut is located at 1940 metres above sea level on the Bavugls mountain pasture above Pignia. Bavugls can be reached from May to November (depending on weather conditions) in 20 minutes by car via the single-lane dirt road. In winter the hut can be reached on foot in 2 1/2 hours (in consultation with the landlord it is possible to reach the hut by quad bike and chauffeur, journey time 1/2 hour). ) From Bavugls you can enjoy the beautiful mountain landscape around our two local mountains Piz la Tschera and Piz Curver, which are well worth the easy to moderate hike.

Non-smoking apartment, pets on request. Included in the indicated price: - Bed linen - Towelling/kitchen towels - Wood for the fire, kindling - gas Access in summer: A driving licence must be purchased for access by car. Point of sale: Mineralbad Andeer (08.00 - 21.00 hrs) 3 days: CHF 10.00 1 month: CHF 20.00 Additional information: -final cleaning: the hut must be left in a swept clean condition (if this is not the case, the landlord will charge a surcharge) -Running water available in the bathroom in summer, no running water in winter -Toilet: In summer ordinary toilet with flush, in winter ordinary toilet with bucket flush (toilet paper available) -small hairdryer available -Heating of the hut: with wood and gas ( kindling and matches available ) -Mobile phone reception/sockets available -Light is available with solar power -Please use solar power sensibly (do not take coffee machines/hair dryers with you)

Lovingly converted 2-room Maiensäss on 2 floors: First floor: living-dining room with 1 sleeping place, double bed separated by a sliding door, open kitchen with 2-burner gas rechaud and a cooker with firewood (also serves as heating), small gas fridge. Ground floor: 1 room with 2 bunk beds, bathroom with running tap water in the shower/sink, WC with flush and wood-burning stove. Both floors equipped with solar power with 220 V inverter. There is no running water in the hut in winter, so the shower cannot be used in winter. WC can be used with a bucket flush.
