Villa Rodi - the word means pomegranate in Greek - surrounded by vineyards and olive groves in a peaceful rural valley a short distance from Zakynthos town and the Bay of Laganas.
This fully independent villa (one of four on a small development each standing in its own large private garden) is a short drive, or even a walk, to local restaurants and supermarkets and a 10 minute drive to the glorious beach on Laganas Bay or into Zakynthos town for some shopping therapy or an evening out on the town. Villa Rodi is modern and ideally fitted out for a relaxing summer break with cool, neutral colour schemes and attractive furnishings – an additional living area/study also provides accommodation for a 9th person if needed. The garden with large paved area, offering a very attractive shaded dining area and built in barbecue, has a large area of lawn where you can simply enjoy your private swimming pool, whilst gazing out to the peaceful surrounding countryside and distant mountains. An added advantage is that Rodi could be booked in conjunction with adjacent Villa Orchard for larger groups giving each party their privacy but being able to enjoy their holiday side by side. *TV is Greek Satellite TV with gives you access to multiple channels in English Language. Please note: This property has staircase railings that feature larger gaps, reflecting the villa's original or traditional design.

The front door has a width of 78cm, whilst the door to the terrace is also 78cm wide.

The pool itself has ladder access.
All bedrooms have a door width of 77cm, whilst the ground floor bathroom door is also 77cm wide.
There are 15 steps to the first floor.

Our stay at the villa was lovely. Although only a short walk to shops and a couple of restaurants the roads are narrow and unlit. The pool area was well maintained and the villa is in a beautiful location. There are only 4 villas on site and a small bar which does drinks, burgers and a few other food items. Insect repellent and plug ins are needed as it surrounded by olive trees.

Although the villa was clean with good facilities eg pool, table tennis, barbecue, it was not suitable accommodation for a family. It is one of four villas in very close proximity - with the others all occupied by large groups of teenagers who were very noisy with music and shouting. all day and all night. Would recommend this was made clearer when booking.

We thought the villa was very clean although missing a few things like a good information guide, poor rep service to find the villa and a little dark in the lounge accommodation. We went to another resort for eating Tsilivi which was fantastic lovely people, lovely food.
