A lovely log cabin close to Coniston Water in Cumbria.
This Lake District cottage is all on the ground floor and has one double bedroom and an open-plan living area.
To the outside are extensive shared grounds, but for a little privacy you do have your own private veranda.
Perfect for discovering the wonderful Lake District National Park as well as the beautiful Cumbrian coast, this log cabin near Greenodd is a wonderful romantic retreat.
Note: Although all ground floor, there are external steps up to the lodge and a 50 meter walk along a gravel path.

Grasmere is a detached wooden lodge in a secluded location near to Greenodd in the Lake District. The lodge sleeps three people and has one double bedroom, a single and a shower room. There is also an open plan living area with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area. Outside is off road parking, a private decked area and shared grounds. Perfect for discovering the beauty of the Lake District National Park, Grasmere is a lovely romantic retreat. Note: Although all ground floor, there are external steps up to the lodge and a 35 metre walk along a gravel path. Note - this property is not suitable for anyone in a wheelchair.

Very good location. We stayed for 7 nights and visited a lot of places, Willsons park in Lancaster, Ingleton waterfalls, all sides of Windermere lake, the cars museum... etc. Very close to town and pubs when we wanted to eat out or do our groceries. We absolutely loved the peace and quiet environment, close to nature. I had the bestest night sleep in ages.

Ideal location just outside the lakes making it easy to get around.lodge was comfortable and cozy. Unfortunately it rained all week so the lack of a washing machine was a small inconvenience. There is an off licence and fish and chips shop just up the road,and several large supermarkets in Ulverston. All in all good value, shame about the rain.
