.A traditional two-bedroom cottage, nestled at the water’s edge of Killary Fjord to the rear, and offering wonderful views of the surrounding countryside and mountains.
The cottage sleeps 4 and is ideally suited to couples and friends.
Adventure sports, attractions and activities are all available locally and can be arranged for you. Seaweed baths, boat tours, hill-walking and much more are all within easy reach.
There are many awe places of interest in the immediate area including Aasleagh Falls, and the Village itself featured in the movie “The Field”. The village provides ample places to eat and drink and the local shop will supply you with everything you need for your self-catering holiday.
Further afield, the towns of Westport and Clifden are both a 20 minute drive.
Galway City is 40 Minutes. Local activities include boat tours, fishing, hill walking, pony trekking, kayaking, coasteering and much more. Facilities: 2 Bedrooms – Sleeps 4. Bedroom 1 a double bedroom and bedroom 2 is a twin bedroom, both well-furnished and well presented.
The cottage is centrally heated throughout and also offers a wood-burning stove.
The cozy living/dining area is well furnished with a comfortable sofa, fireside chairs, oak dining table and chairs and multi-channel TV. The kitchen is well equipped with all necessary equipment including cooker, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave.
Laundry facilities are available and include a washing machine and a dryer.
The bathroom has WC, sink and shower.
Outdoor seating available.
Towels and linens included.
Wi-fi included.
Rental price includes electricity and heating.
Please note that this property offers direct access to the sea-shore and may not be suitable for small children.

We loved the cottage in Leenane! It was an excellent location for exploring Connemara and Westport by car. The views out the front and back were spectacular!! The cottage was super cosy and comfortable and had everything we needed. Laundry access was really helpful. Would stay again!

Nous avons passé 2 semaines dans le cottage de Leenane.
Le cottage en lui même est fonctionnel. Tout est disponible pour passer un bon séjour.
La literie est vraiment bonne.
Quelques problèmes d’humidité.
L’environnement extérieur est magnifique.
On ne se lasse pas de regarder le paysage évolué.
