It's said that pictures paint a thousand words but the camera has yet to develop sufficiently to do full justice to the panoramic sea views from Villa Dimitra where gently downward sloping green lawns seem to disappear into blue, blue sea and the distant neighbouring island of Zakynthos takes centre stage on the horizon.
One of a select group of Villas sharing the peninsular just south of the village of Spartia, we consider that Villa Dimitra has prime position at the end of the lane.
The layout of the Villa and its gardens are all about easy relaxed living, with the pool, dining terraces and sun terraces all no more than a few steps away This lovely three bedroom sea view Villa sits in the centre of its private garden with stunning sea views.
Shrubs and palm trees surround the sloping lawns, so uninterrupted privacy is assured.
Inside, the Villa is well equipped and spacious, plus comfortable sofas in the living area and a well organised kitchen.
To match the three bedrooms there are three bath/shower rooms. Location - Spartia One of an exclusive group of Villas each set privately in its own gardens and occupying the Liakias peninsular and a few kilometers from tiny Spartia village.
A short walk down the hill takes you to an interesting rock formation with a platform lapped by the sea, Cape Liakas.
There's a sandy beach just a 5min drive away, above which The Waterways Taverna entices boat owners to tie up at the small jetty below. Spartia's maze like narrow roads all lead to the village centre, where there are two mini markets and a couple of tavernas and for more choice, Argostoli is just a 20 min drive away Outside Villa Dimitra Swimming Pool - Oval 9m x 4.5m private pool with Roman step entry Pool depths 1.20m -1.60m. We liked everything about Villa Dimitra - location, sunny terrace with wonderful sea views, a pool that was always kept clean, and a villa with A/C close to café's and restaurants. Also, excellent local Freelance management support if needed.
