Purple Mountain Holiday Home is a modern holiday home close to Killarney town in County Kerry. This spacious holiday home is 7km outside the bustling town of Killarney on the scenic Ring of Kerry route.
From this modern pet-friendly holiday home you will be spoilt with the selection of walks. There are numerous trails and country lanes you can explore with your beloved dog on your next Irish holiday in Killarney. Explore Gap Road located 400m away, from here you can easily reach Kate Kearney's Cottage, MacGillycuddy’s Reeks and the famous Gap of Dunloe.

This large holiday home is bright and spacious, a great base for a family or group holiday in Killarney. This coastal holiday home has 4 bedrooms and sleeps 8 guests comfortably

The main bathroom has a wet room shower and there are two doors on the shower, however please note there are no handle bars in the shower or beside the toilet. The doors downstairs meet the building regulation width requirements for wheelchairs. Local area & Tourist Attractions Purple Mountain Holiday Home is located just outside the little village of Fossa which has a shop and a popular local pub called the Golden Nugget. Another village 3km away is the pretty hamlet of Beaufort which lies on the banks of the River Laune. This village consists of a post office, a few quaint pubs, supermarket and parish hall. Beaufort sits at the foot of Ireland's highest mountain Carrauntoohil making Purple Mountain Holiday Home a wonderful base for a walking holiday in Kerry.

IMPORTANT NOTES1. Heating and Electricity:
This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner. In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid. We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager prior to arrival how this is calculated or prior to making the booking.
2. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival by cash. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.
