The cottage is situated on a plot of land that is protected from view. Trees and shrubs form the border vegetation here. Through the planting you can see the Flensburg Fjord, which is very close to the vacation home. You will enjoy peace and quiet here on the terrace and also in the garden, which feels like a fertile oasis. There is a kitchen-living room with a wood-burning stove and there is Wi-Fi throughout the house. 200 meters from the house is the gourmet restaurant Fakkelgaarden.
Please note that the last 150 m before the house are uneven and therefore difficult to drive on.

Interesting destinations are nearby: as Flensburg and Sønderborg are within reach. You can also go for a hike or a mountain bike tour on the Gendarmstien trail. Gendarmstien is one of the most beautiful hiking trails in Denmark. The 84-kilometer coastal hiking trail is divided into four daily stages. Each stage winds along the shore of the fjord, offering a varied and sometimes hilly landscape. Along the trail you will have ample opportunity to see rare plants and animals as well as many interesting biotopes and landscapes ranging from orchids, frogs and birds to tunnel valleys, cliffs and stone reefs. At the same time you can explore the history and the many myths and legends related to the Gendarme Trail and the Borderland.
